1 Night in Paris (2004) is a sex video showing Paris Hilton and her then-boyfriend Rick Salomon engaging in sexual relations. The video was released shortly before Hilton's TV series The Simple Life debuted, causing a media sensation. Salomon originally sued Hilton for defamation when Hilton claimed publicly that she was "out of it" and didn't know what she was doing during the taping of the video. Hilton also sued Salomon over the release of the tape, but settled out of court in July 2005. The original video and copies of the DVD are still circulating on the Internet and can be legally seen on several sites. The video received the AVN Awards in 2005 for "Best Selling Title of the Year", "Best Renting Title of the Year", and "Best Overall Marketing Campaign – Individual Project".

The DVD titled 1 Night in Paris is distributed by Red Light District, a production company that produces and distributes pornographic videos.

Much of the film was made using the night vision feature of the camera which also features in a number of the parodies of the film - for instance, the video for Pink's "Stupid Girls" and in the South Park episode Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset. The night vision feature, using infra-red, creates a monochromatic and quite grainy picture. This mode was used for the most explicit parts (involving vaginal intercourse) of the video and masks a lot of the detail, perhaps pointing to the reason for its use. Less explicit parts (oral and general nudity) are filmed in normal colour.
